abiotic nature (John Wiley, 2004) and about 100 other articles
and books on these subjects. Hobbies are gardening, walking and golf
(member at Bungay). Educated at Portobello High School, Edinburgh
and Edinburgh University (BSc, PhD). Chartered Geologist. Fellow of
the Geological Society and Royal Geographical Society. Former Editor
and Vice-President of the Geologists' Association. Advisor to the
nature conservation bodies of the UK on earth science SSSIs. |
