Cabinet Member for Leisure, Culture and Countryside and member of the East Area Planning Committee.

Elected to SNC in 1999; member for Framingham Earl, Framingham Pigot and Poringland.

Born in 1946 in Kent. Went to Birmingham University and came to South Norfolk in 1969 when I married. I taught in county schools and then spent 8 years in New Zealand on secondment with husband's job. I have 3 children, now grown up, and have always enjoyed participating in community activities.

My interests include singing, music, walking, playing bridge, all of the arts, history, newspapers, politics, caravanning and the company of friends.
